Our sales and customer success teams needed a steady stream of fresh company and contact data that provided rich context. Not just insights when a lead enters the system, but continuous data as new accounts, contacts, or opportunities are created. Doing this manually wasn’t scalable. And relying solely on static enrichment vendors wasn’t flexible enough.
🧠The Solution: Automated Enrichment From Signup to Close
With the challenges we faced, I designed an automated enrichment workflow that combines:
- Seamless.AI's API to retrieve verified contact info for ideal buyer personas.
- OpenAI via n8n to generate company overviews, GTM strategies, and sales org intelligence based on public data.
- Salesforce integration to write 20+ custom enrichment fields back into each account and contact record.
The workflow triggers when:
- A new user signs up, creating a new Salesforce account.
- An opportunity is created that's tied to an unenriched account.
- A new contact is created or updated, such as when a new persona joins the buying committee.
From there, we enrich the company profile using OpenAI. Then we pull contact-level data using Seamless.AI, and update Salesforce with one clean, enriched profile per record.
