Each key data point within Seamless.AI, such as email addresses and phone numbers, include a validation score. This score represents the confidence that is derived from the signals within each data point.
Understanding Email Validation
- Valid: Safe for sending. Email is validated as the correct email for this contact.
- Accept All: Safe for sending, pending total AI score. Email is validated to accept emails for any email address at this domain, but can't be completely verified to be the exact email for that contact.
- Unknown: Send with care. Email can't be validated at this time. We will continue to check for a validation response over the following 25 hours after the contact is found within Seamless.AI.
- Invalid: Do not send. Email has been invalidated, so we would not recommend sending to this contact and it will most likely provide a bounce-back.
- Do Not Mail: These Emails have been identified as a "Do not Contact" email or a suppressed status meaning that the users should be contacted at your own risk.
Understanding Phone Scores
Phone numbers are marked with a check based on a number of factors, including count, recency and source of the data available for that contact and that specific data point.
Navigating Contact Validation for Optimal Results
Email AI
If a Small Bounce Rate is Okay (Preferred workflow for most users): Target both Valid and Accept All emails with your workflow. When targeting Accept All emails we typically recommend only referring to those with a 50% or higher confidence score. This will ensure that this email is the highest likelihood of success based on data available in our sources and allows you to target a larger group beyond only valid emails.
Minimizing Bounce Completely: If your company or email marketing software requires you to have a very minimal bounce rate you will want to only use Valid status emails. Valid emails have the highest confidence and will ensure you are only reaching out to verified and confirmed emails.
