Installing and Setting Up the Chrome Extension with Seamless
Learn how to install and set up the Chrome extension with Seamless to start prospecting anywhere from your browser.

Installing the Chrome Extension
Our Chrome Extension allows you to search outside of the Seamless platform and work Seamless into your every day workflow via different avenues.
1. Login to your Seamless account and click your Account Menu in the bottom right corner and select 'Chrome Extension'.
2. This will take you to our Chrome Extension landing page where you can select "Add to Chrome" to visit the extension install page.
3. On this page you'll again click "Add to Chrome" and confirm "Add Extension" to install to your chrome browser.
4. After the extension is installed you'll want to first pin the extension to your browser so that it's there for easy access. To do so, click the puzzle piece icon in top right corner of your browser and click the pin icon by Seamless.

5. The final step is to ensure your extension is set to work on all sites so that it can work outside of the Seamless application.
Please Note: Not having this setting will not allow the extension to work at all.
To confirm this setting select the three dots by Seamless and choose "This can read and change site data'" and ensure "On All Sites" is selected.
Customize Chrome Extension Display
Further customize the location of the Seamless icon and side panel display.
Hover over the 6 dots on the Seamless Chrome Extension fly out icon, and drag up and down to the height on the side that is best for your workflow.
Move your Chrome Extension Icon and side panel view to display on the left or right side, based on your needs.
Access your Chrome Settings through the 3 vertical dots in the top right hand corner of your Google Chrome window.
Under the Appearance tab select "Show on right" or "Show on left" in the Side Panel Position setting.
Using the Seamless Chrome Extension

After your Chrome Extension is installed, you see the Seamless icon on the right side of your web browser. If just installed, but do not see the icon, simply refresh the page and it should appear for you.
To begin prospecting with Seamless, simply click the Seamless icon to launch the side panel view. With the sidebar view, you will be able to access all aspects of the website you are on, while also being able to search for prospect and company information in the same view.
Within the side panel view you can find and view contact and company profiles, and also conduct advanced searches tailored to the personas you wish to target.
Anytime you click Find or Find All in the Seamless Chrome Extension, the contact and their profile will automatically be saved to the My Contacts tab on Seamless.AI, along with your preselected lists. When you save company information in the Chrome Extension, the company profile will automatically be saved to the My Companies tab in Seamless.
Using the Chrome Extension to find contact profile information requires contact and company search credits, just like in Seamless. One contact search credit will be used when you click Find next to a contact, whether you are on the Seamless platform or using the Chrome Extension.
