Historically, Seamless.AI’s buyer intent has existed as a workflow separate and distinct from the search workflow.
Teams could identify which companies are actively researching topics related to their product, which accounts may be entering a buying cycle, and where reps should prioritize their attention first. However, all of this existed within a separate dashboard.
Finding the right account is useful. Knowing which of those accounts is showing interest in a topic you sell is even better.
Now you can apply buyer intent filters directly in Seamless.AI’s Company Search and Contact Search, alongside the industry, company size, title, and location filters you already use.
Search for companies showing activity around relevant topics, then find the decision-makers who fit your target profile.

Intent Is Now Built Into Company and Contact Search
With intent filters now available across both Company Search and Contact Search, users can combine intent signals with the filters they already use to build highly targeted prospect lists.
So instead of searching for the right company first and then trying to determine whether that company shows buying signals, you can unify that criteria in a single workflow.
For example, you can search for:
- SaaS companies with 100–500 employees showing intent around sales intelligence
- VP-level sales contacts at companies researching lead generation
- Companies within a specific industry showing strong intent around a particular topic
The result is a more efficient way to move from broad prospecting that feels like guesswork to outbound strategy that’s precise and purposeful.
Find Companies & Contacts Showing Relevant Intent
If you’re looking for intent signals in your company search, apply intent filters alongside the company or contact filters you’re already using to target ideal prospects.
From there, Seamless delivers search results based on firmographic criteria as well as Intent Strength (the strength of the relevant intent signal) and Intent Topic Matches, which show how many selected intent topics match a particular company.
This gives reps another way to evaluate and prioritize accounts directly from their search results without opening another tool or jumping between multiple screens.
With contact search, you can run a similar play. Combine contact-level criteria, company-level criteria, and intent filters to find the right people at companies showing relevant buying signals.
One important distinction: intent originates at the company level.
So when you find an individual prospect in the search results who shows intent, that signal represents activity associated with that person's company. It does not necessarily mean the individual contact personally performed that activity.
That context matters when deciding how to use intent in outreach.
Combine Intent With the Rest of Your Prospecting Criteria
The real value of this update is not simply that intent data appears inside the Seamless search page. It’s that intent can now be combined with the other criteria reps already use to define their ideal prospects.

As Jake Phillips, our Head of Product and Engineering, puts it:
“Great prospecting isn’t just about finding the right person. It’s about understanding when there’s a reason to start the conversation. Bringing buyer intent inside Contact and Company Search gives our customers that context at the exact moment they’re building their lists, so they can spend less time piecing together signals and more time focusing on the opportunities that actually matter.”
Instead of treating intent as a standalone data point, sales teams can now layer it into the broader context of who they want to sell to.
That helps answer a much more useful prospecting question: Which companies fit our target market and are also showing signals that make them more relevant right now?
Start Searching With Intent
Intent-based filters are now available across Company Search and Contact Search in Seamless.
Use them alongside your existing search criteria to identify companies demonstrating relevant intent, find the right contacts within those accounts, and prioritize prospects using intent signals directly from your search results.
Because finding the right prospect is important. But knowing why now might be the right time to reach out can be even more valuable.
