Using the Seamless.AI Chrome Extension on LinkedIn Basic

Social Search allows you to search directly on LinkedIn and use our chrome extension to go beyond in-app searching and pull contact information directly into your Seamless.AI account. The chrome extension works with LinkedIn Basic, LinkedIn Recruiter - Standard, and Sales Navigator.

Searching on LinkedIn Basic:

The process for using our extension on the various versions of LinkedIn is the same, the only difference is the filters and connection levels available for you to utilize.

1. After you've installed the chrome extension, login to your LinkedIn account and enter your keywords for your searching.

2. Once you have your search results you can click the 'All filters' option to bring up any additional filters you'd like to apply to your search. Once you apply the additional filters you'll be able to view those search results.

3. Use the Seamless.AI icons on the right side of the page to set your list, find contact information, and move on to the next page of results in that order. You can also hit 'Find' next to each individual contact if you want to target a specific person.

4. Successful searches will then turn all Find buttons to 'View'. If you see 'Retry' that means there was an error in your search and that contact wasn't successfully researched and saved.

Searching on an Individual Contact Profile:

1. To research on an individual contact profile, simply navigate to your preferred contact's profile and click the 'Find' button on their profile to research and save their contact information. Side Note: If the user is listed to work at multiple companies a dropdown will appear that will allow you to research the contact for either company.

Searching on an Individual Company Profile

1. To research on an individual company profile, simply navigate to your preferred company's profile and click the 'Find' button on their profile to research and save the company information.
