Mimeo Starts Breaking Sales Records

Mimeo is a 20-year-old company with a methodology, strategy, and sales process already in place. However, because they invested heavily in ZoomInfo, they had hundreds of thousands of unused credits rolling over because it just wasn't helping them get accurate information.

As a result, the Salespeople at Mimeo frequently ran into problems: they were either missing a lot of data for the people they needed to sell to, or the numbers were wrong, or the contact they were looking for didn't work there anymore. But despite all of these issues, they were still absolutely set in their ways when Dan arrived at the company.

At the time, Mimeo had a team of 5 in India who were in charge of list building, and uploading into Salesforce.

When Daniel pitched Seamless to executives and board members, he demonstrated by searching an executive's information, as he was questioning it. Seamless pulled up his direct phone line and even his personal cell phone number.

Everyone in the room was shocked and was the pivotal moment that helped Dan pioneer bringing Seamless.AI onboard!

Results

Suddenly, all the work that was previously done by their team in India, was directly put into the hands of SDRs, BDRs, and Inside Sales Reps with a laundry list of benefits for Mimeo:

  • Direct Dials increased up to 70% from 30%.
  • Connection-rates soared, while cost-per-acquisition and cost-per-sale dropped dramatically.

And in 2019, Daniel's team did 300% of their quota.

Within six months of joining Mimeo, he successfully brought in $1.5M in new business alone... new big logo clients like Dollar Tree and Kohl's were acquired using Seamless, but Dan did not only acquire big whales using Seamless but was able to get direct dials with small clients who'd normally be unattainable!

Due to these efforts, January 2020 was the best month in company history in revenue!

One rep on his team brought in 37 new logo clients using Seamless; New accounts that had never used Mimeo before and enterprise-level businesses as well!

Additionally, February 2020 was the best February in Mimeo's History in 7 years and they had the best Q4 ever.

Having the ability to live in one platform and have one source of truth was absolutely critical to our success.

Former SDRs that moved into other positions within the company even brought Seamless with them, allowing them to carry out penetration and expansion opportunities. It's usage had spread massively throughout the company.

Seamless is directly responsible for several million dollars in Mimeo's revenue.
