A Peace of Yoga is a yoga & mindfulness company ran by mother-daughter duo Celestine and Amanda Muhammad. After stumbling into yoga by way of family hardship, Amanda wrote a business plan for a company called "A Peace of Yoga" in her Entrepreneurship class at The University of Kansas. Celestine took charge and went on to get her Yoga Teacher Certification and began teaching in the Kansas City area, and Amanda moved to Dallas to further her HR career and finish her Masters. After failing to find satisfaction in her Corporate career, Amanda left her job and started her private practice in the DFW area. The two have formed some amazing partnerships with organizations like The Niroga Institute, The Yoga Body and Image Coalition, and Off The Mat Into The World. You can find them traveling to workshops and doing trainings across the country to further their knowledge and deepen their practice. They are determined to show you that this practice doesn't have a face, and that everyone deserves a chance to benefit from it.
